Events: Chinese New Year
Creative Industries Forum
Event hosted by: Department of Culture and the Arts
The Department of Culture and the Arts, supported by the Office of Multicultural Interests, will host a free to attend Creative Industries forum on Saturday 11 February at the State Theatre Centre of WA, Northbridge as part of the State Government's 2017 Chinese New Year Celebrations Program.
During this afternoon of cross-cultural exchange, some of WA’s most notable arts and culture sector representatives will share their insights and experiences on working in China and collaborating with their Chinese counterparts. This is an opportunity to hear and be inspired by their stories.
The afternoon will kick off with panel discussions facilitated by award-winning journalist and broadcaster, Meri Fatin. Each panel will feature a notable Chinese keynote speaker from the fields of theatre, film and fashion respectively, as well as a panel of experts from the WA arts and cultural sector. After the forum, you will be invited to join us for a networking event to be held in the foyer of Studio Underground from 5:30pm to 7pm. View the full event schedule here.
